About Bluebird

Bluebird Restaurant in London’s perennially-popular Chelsea is a warm, relaxing and utterly stylish space to be enjoyed from lunch through afternoon tea and dinner. The decor combines classic British design with exciting modern furniture and details in welcoming deep reds and chocolate browns, gracing the loft-like dining room with cosy intimacy. No, there are no actual blue birds in this restaurant, just glimmering chandeliers that accentuate the stunning skylight or maybe you’ll be fascinated by the passing parade on the King’s Road below. Head Chef Mark Block has created a brilliant modern British menu employing only the finest ingredients in dishes like seared Scottish scallops with guacamole, Goosnargh chicken and mushroom pie and Bluebird’s famous rump of salt marsh lamb. The sexy bar has a vibe and scene of its own – not to be missed. Bluebird is a fabulous addition to the Kings Road restaurant scene.

The Bluebird, Chelsea Great food, but limiting vegetarian options. Needed toi have chips with my cannelloni. Great wine choices. Took 20 minutes for wine to arrive and starters had already been served.

This restaurant has a lovely setting, both inside and outs. The staff were very attentive and the food and wine were impressive. We shared a chateaubriand, although slightly overdone, very tender and tasty. I will be returning to Bluebird (on the Kings Road) in the future.

Took my 16 year old daughter to the Bluebird in Kings Road for lunch during a Saturday shopping trip and we both loved it. Had the set menu at £20 for two courses and although there were only 4 choices for each course, we both founds things we liked. Great atmosphere, very efficient service and fantastic food. Would definitely go again.

This was a really lovely, lively place to go to. The service was good, the food was good.

I had emailed to request a bday deco on my friend's dessert and they did a great job!The service and food was impeccable as always. I love that restaurant!

A group of us booked Bluebird for Sunday brunch as a treat. We ended up queueing for a table outside rather than using the one we had booked inside as it was a sunny day. The ambience outside was really buzzy. The service was a bit hit and miss with lots of waiters but everything taking a long time to arrive or get organised. The food was good but nothing amazing but I'd go back again for the atmosphere.

The food was nice, but would have liked to sit outside for brunch on such a beautiful day. This reservation is only for the restaurant and not the outdoor cafe.

As good as ever!

Bluebird Cafe London As always a lovely place to have dinner nice vibe attentive service main course chicken breast nicely cooked and v tasty. desert was a macaroon with fresh strawberry not the best have had and over priced. Staff very pleasant

Lovely atmosphere in Bluebird (though a little chilly). The set menu was excellent - delicious food and really good value. Thoroughly recommended for a special evening out with friends or a date.

we had a great evening, after the wine tasting in the cellar. the service was slick and efficient but friendly. The turbot was perfect as too were the vegetables. the wild strawberry sorbet was summer in a glass. A great experience thank you

Excellent venue, food, cocktails, wine and service as always. Never fails. Had a very fun evening. Very friendly assistant manager. Drinks are cheap but they are excellent so who cares.

This was my first visit to Bluebird and will definately be returning. The Toptable menue was excellent value and offered enough choice. Great atmosphere too for a bank holiday monday

Well worth a visit. Lovely food. Make sure you get a table by the windows

The decoration, ambience and layout of the restaurant were nice. We went there on a Sunday so it was quite busy with families with children (but they were behaving very well). We thought the set menu would have been of good value but unfortunately very limited. Only 1 out of us 4 decided to go for the set menu.

The Bluebird Restaurant, Kings Road, London Very good food and drink although the lamb was quite a fatty piece which let down the overall score. Used my toptable points for the diner that had that so it was free but wouldn't want to read anything into that.....

Would definitely go again though.

Overall we enjoyed our experience at the Bluebird Restaurant in Chelsea. The experience would have been made better if we werent left to wait 20 minutes for our aperitifs to arrive...

Great atmosphere and good food.

I would go again. The food was good and the service was fine. Maybe a bit pretentious but on the whole good.
