About The Victoria

Set in a leafy residential area close to Richmond Park, The Victoria is a traditional public house and restaurant with a modern edge. Leading off from the cosy but spacious bar, The Victoria’s dining room is located in a bright and airy conservatory-style extension which overlooks a beautifully tended garden. During the day sunlight floods in, even on the darkest of days, while evening guests can dine with the stars as they twinkle over the beautiful candlelit room. With a varied and eclectic menu, The Victoria really does offer something for everyone with the best of British combining with touches of summery Mediterranean flavour, just a sprinkling of experimentation and all the skill of chef Paul Merrett and his team.

The Victoria at Temple Sheen was excellent. Great service and fabulous food. Delicious roast dinner that hit the spot. Just what we wanted. Polite and efficient service. No complaints whatsoever. Will return.

We are very fortunate to have The Victoria in East Sheen as our local and the restaurant and food never disappoints. It was a busy Sunday lunch and we all enjoyed a fantastic 2-3 courses, even outstaying our welcome until the evening. The choice and quality of food is simply superb and would highly recommend.

We booked at The Victoria in Sheen and were very pleased with our set lunch. The conservatory looked out onto a lovely patio garden that would be great in the summer. The set menu was good value and the dishes well presented. It was very quiet that day but I would recommend this for the weekend after a stroll in the park. It feels as if you are in the country.

The Victoria is tucked away on a back street near Richmond Park but merits the hunt to find it. From the front it appears to be a small pub but the main restaurant is in a light and airy conservatory at the back. There's also a large garden although this was closed in the winter. Service was quick and efficient, the staff appeared knowledgeable, and the food was delicious, with some interesting combinations of flavours.

Food delicious & well executed.

Menu, although not extensive, thoughtfully compiled & seasonal.

Pleasant atmoshere, albeit with rather cramped surroundings.

Service efficient, if not effusive.

One suggestion - not a great idea to serve whole fish on white plates in subtle lighting - bones are nigh on invisible!

Food was great - portions on large side. We ate a late lunch and they had ran out of a couple of starters. Would go back again

Great place... staff very friendly and making a big effort

Had a lovely Sunday lunch with family at The Victoria. Good food (with some Spanish inspiration), friendly service. Ideal with kids as there is a little playground at the back of the garden.

The Victoria in Sheen is a fantastic place. The restaurant is gorgeous as is the food and the staff are very nice. The only criticism I have is that if you are vegatarian the selection is not great and they do not change it very often - despite my request that they do so! Apart from that delicious food and great service and venue. Perfect for a special night out with friends.

The Victoria near East Sheen was a really relaxing place for a meal. The service and food were good, as was the lovely outdoor area.

Good atmosphere and ok for a local gastropub but probably overpriced by 20%. Service ok but not got the aplomb which might be expected.

Had lunch in the recently refurbished Victoria in Sheen near Richmond in their very well appointed conservatory dining area. The food was excellent with a delightful home made scotch egg and perfectly cooked ribeye steak being the highlights. Wine list was interesting but pricey and service by young students was attentive. The problem was no set price lunch so the bill for two with 12.5% service was £130 with a shared cheesboard and no coffee! Poor value compared to Bingham etc food for thought

Nice setting. Decent food but small portions and not great value for money. Woukd return but order more sides...

Very nice food, nice atmosphere and lovely area. The restaurant was a little cold last time we went so we had not been for a while. The temperature and ambience were fine this time though! Service could do with a bit of "polish" and we did wait quite a while to order. Otherwise all good! The Victoria - Sheen.

We went as a large(ish) group for Sunday lunch. The setting is lovely , the wine was great, the food excellent and the service laid back - but just about efficient enough! All in all, most enjoyable!

Hidden in a back street close to Richmond Park, you feel like in a countryside! Friendly service, good food selection. Next time, we hope the weather will allow us to enjoy the garden! Nice gastropub atmosphere!

The Victoria was the perfect lunch venue for us. It had a casual feel without compromise to service and standard. Our food was interesting, very tasty, and not at all typical 'pub' food. A great wine list.

The Victoria was the perfect lunch venue for us. It had a casual feel without compromise to service and standard. Our food was interesting, very tasty, and not at all typical 'pub' food. A great wine list. The children meals were generous and delicious. Best of all the secure kids play area was in full view of our table making it a fabulous venue for all the family.

Excellent food and great service

Great food, great wine list.
