Nice sunday lunch n nice decoration, no expensive affordable

Nice enough meal at trafalgar tavern in greenwich. Great location & dining room is lovely. Food fine but not special. Staff lovely & v friendly... But a little inexperienced? Several people seemed to be waiting our table but without any regard to each other so kept being asked same questions. Someone came to take out order while the first person had gone to check what the soup of the day was... Then found we'd been given the wrong menus anyway so some things we'd ordered weren't available.

The food was OK but the menu was very limited. Fantastic view of the Thames.

Great venue but unfortunately service is always really slow - despite people rushing around.

Saw a few groups who were given their meal and then they had to go and ask for cutlery. Likewise we ordered drinks and half way through our meal I had to ask for them.

Re the food - the mains (both fish dishes) were great but the starters were hit and miss. Smoked salmon with shredded boiled egg on top wasn't great

good view. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely go again.

Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich is a historic venue combining a pub with a restaurant. There are spectacular views over the River Thames, while you eat. The food was excellent from a menu that offers plenty of choice and was well cooked and presented.

Just come back from a lovely meal out! The restaurant was actually quite quiet, but we really had a nice time. The food was absolutely delicious, although I would have loved more choice in the menu. Not many vegetarian options (I am not vegetarian, but sometimes you do fancy something other than meat/fish). However, I did have lamb shank which was divine! I'd also recommend it if you fancy having a nice meal by the river. The view is lovely and pub next door, really lively.

We dined here on Friday - lovely food as always - great atmosphere, friendly staff! I would recommend it.

Great food on NYE

We went for lunch to the Trafalgar Tavern and were blown away by the quality of the fare. It seems a regular pub & therefore the presentation of & amazing tastes which emanated from the food was a little unexpected. Highly recommended.

Food was great and the service was excellent!!! Really fab Sunday lunch will certainly be returning again soon.

The Trafalgar has always been a wonderful place to enjoy a drink, so I hoped it would also be lovely for dinner. I booked a table for 6 people for my Birthday. I will never go back, even though I live just round the corner. The service was terrible, the waitress got the drinks wrong, she couldn't understand a word we were saying, she got 2 meals wrong, one of which came old cold, the place was freezing with no heating on, its over priced, the one ladies toilet was freezing cold and had no light.

Celebratory graduation dinner at The Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich, delicious food, excellent service - very friendly, helpful waitress, Perfect finish to a lovely day.

Excellent service, good food at great prices, shame about the awful toilets!!

The Trafalgar Tavern is located on the banks of the Thames in Greenwich. It is a pub with a restaurant. King Henry 8th used to come here for the whitebate which are still on the menu. Good service, food and ambience.

Went to lunch at Trafalgar with my Aunt

An excellent lunch at the Trafalgar Tavern, Greenwich. All courses fresh and prompt. Attentive but not intrusive service. Excellent bottle of Macon

We enjoyed both courses, particularly the duck breast. For some reason the initial wine we ordered was not kept chilled, so we had to make a hurried second choice. Most tables have a good view of the river Thames.

The Trafalgar Tavern Did not like the table we were assigned but the waitress was friendly and efficient. The food was well presented but I would suggest that more salads/ lighter additions are made, particularly for the summer months. The ladies lavatory was poorly lit and only 2 out of 3 were working.

The Trafalgar in Greenwich is one of my favourite pubs ever, and I was pleased to find the food in the restaurant is of a very high standard. Unfortunately though, they tried to charge us £4.50 PER PERSON to eat out own birthday cake!!! That put a damper on the whole experience I'm afraid.
